From Cabin Camera to Driver Vital Signs
How our rPPG pipeline transforms standard DMS camera feeds into continuous physiological monitoring without additional hardware
Simple Steps to Get Started
Measuring your vitals takes less than a minute
Cabin Camera Capture
The existing driver-facing camera in the vehicle cabin captures standard video frames as part of the normal DMS pipeline. No modifications to camera hardware, mounting position, or illumination are required. Our software works with the same NIR or RGB image stream already feeding your gaze-tracking and attention-monitoring algorithms.
Facial Region Extraction
Our lightweight face detection module identifies and tracks the driver facial region across frames with automotive-grade robustness. The algorithm handles varying head poses, partial occlusions from sunglasses or masks, and the challenging illumination conditions typical of vehicle cabins including direct sunlight, tunnel transitions, and nighttime NIR imaging.
rPPG Signal Processing
Proprietary signal extraction algorithms isolate the subtle color variations caused by blood volume pulse from the facial video. Advanced noise rejection filters out vehicle vibration, road-induced motion, and lighting changes to produce a clean cardiovascular signal suitable for real-time physiological analysis on resource-constrained automotive processors.
Vital Signs and Alert Output
The processed signal yields continuous heart rate, heart rate variability, stress indicators, and composite fatigue scoring. These outputs feed into your DMS controller through standardized interfaces, enabling integration with existing HMI warning systems, ADAS controllers, and fleet telemetry platforms. All processing runs on-device with zero cloud dependency.
